I was born in 2009 and live in Schüttorf. It’s a small town in the corner of Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and the Netherlands.

I got into inline skating through my older brother, who already had a lot of fun skating with inline skates. That’s why I got my first inline skates at the age of 4.

We then skated a lot on our street, played field hockey or tag, for example, and were generally out and about a lot on our inline skates.

One highlight was when my parents took us to a skate park during the vacations, as there was nothing like that nearby my home. Corona put me that I spent more and more time skating and using my inline skates.

In 2020, in the second Corona winter, I got my first aggressive inline skates: The USD Aeon 60 Basic.

At first I skated without a helmet, but after a serious concussion, good protectors and a stunt skate helmet became my standard equipment for inline and aggressive skating.

My first contact with SkaMiDan also began at this time, when I was looking for inline skating courses on the internet. There I discovered SkaMiDan’s tutorials, e.g. “Learning to grind with inline skates” and the “Drop In”.

In addition, Daniel, the founder and owner of SkaMiDan, advised us by e-mail when I needed new wheels and explained the differences to us.

The following year, I went to a blade session in Duisburg for the first time. It was impressive to meet so many bladers at once. That’s also where I met Jakob and Marcel, who were already aggressive inline skaters at SkaMiDan at the time and still are today.

Since then, I’ve been going to the Wicked Woods indoor skate park in Wuppertal and to the blader meetings as often as possible. I also travel a lot in the Netherlands and have already made friends with a lot of bladers there too.

I started taking part in contests in 2023. My biggest success up to 2024 was reaching the final of the Winterclash in Eindhoven in February 2024.

I think it’s cool when I try a new trick and it finally works after lots of practicing and falling. I also really enjoy helping others and supporting their progress in inline skating.

I like the togetherness and the community. No matter where you go, the bladers always greet each other and then often skate together. It doesn’t matter how good you are, who you are or how old you are, you are always welcome at any time.

Everyone skates together, is friendly to each other, helpful and happy when you land a new trick. I’ve made lots of new friends through blading and got to know lots of people from all over the world.

I really enjoy blading, especially when there are lots of people around.

The SkaMiDan team also focuses on the community and the enjoyment of the sport rather than the pressure or the skill with the skates.

I am therefore proud to be part of the SkaMiDan team.
