Shipping Costs
The shipping costs for our rental equipment are calculated individually.
Please contact us before or after placing your order to confirm the shipping costs and discuss further details.
Below are three examples:
1x pair of roller skates/inline skates, including packaging, weighs between 3.5 and 4.5 kg.
- The shipping costs within Germany for a 10kg package are approximately €10. Return shipping via us costs €8 per package. Thus, the total cost for shipping and return of 2 pairs of roller skates would be around €18.
- The shipping costs within Germany for a 30kg package are approximately €22. Return shipping via us costs €8 per package. Thus, the total cost for shipping and return of 2 pairs of roller skates + 2 pairs of inline skates, including protective gear, would be around €30.
- The shipping costs for larger quantities, such as 50 pairs of roller skates for a roller disco, can vary significantly depending on the selected shoe sizes and the mix of roller skates for children and adults.
Size finder
Size finder
To ensure you choose the right size for your new recreational or lifestyle roller skates, we've put together some important tips and guidelines below.
Take the time to read our size guide and find the perfect fit right away. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us anytime!
Finding the Right Skate Size
If you’re not familiar with a specific brand or model of Lifestyle skates, the most reliable measurement to go by is the Mondopoint size.
- The Mondopoint size is always given in millimeters (mm) or centimeters (cm).
- You can find this measurement in our size chart and size selection menu.
- We have also included the corresponding size charts in the product images for easy reference.
The Mondopoint size of your chosen skate must not be smaller than your own foot length plus a tolerance of 4 to 9mm.
Example:
- Measure your foot length (barefoot). The best way to do this is by standing with your heels against a door frame or a straight wall without a baseboard.
- Add 5-9mm tolerance to your measured foot length (depending on how thick your socks are and how much comfort you prefer).
- The final measurement must not exceed the Mondopoint size of the selected skate size.
Example Calculation:
- Your barefoot foot length is 26.0 cm (260mm).
- Adding a 5mm tolerance results in a total length of 26.5 cm (265mm).
- If EU size 41 has a Mondopoint size of 26.4 cm, you are 1mm over.
- In this case, you should choose EU size 42 instead.
By following these steps, you’ll ensure a perfect fit for your Roller Derby skates.
The right fit
In our product specifications, under the fit section, you will find details about the width and shape of each skate.
We categorize skate widths into five different fit types:
- Very narrow
- Narrow
- Medium
- Wide
- Very wide
Skates labeled as "very narrow" or "narrow" should only be chosen if you are certain that you have very slim feet or if you prioritize maximum control and a secure fit over comfort.
If you have a high arch, which can be identified by a strongly curved footprint (e.g., when stepping with wet feet), you will likely fall into the medium width category.
If you have flat feet and leave a broader, less curved footprint, you likely need a wider skate.
Example:
If your foot length is approximately 26 cm and your foot width is around 11 cm, you likely have a wider foot.
Since every skate model fits differently, this guide serves as a general reference to help you find the right size.

Care instructions

Care Instructions for Skate Bearings:
How to Make Them Last Longer and Run Smoother
Bearings are the heart of every skate – they ensure a smooth ride and directly affect your speed and control. But like all mechanical parts, bearings need regular care to maintain performance and prevent premature wear. In this post, we’ll show you what to look out for when caring for your bearings and how to clean and maintain them properly.
1. Why Is Bearing Maintenance Important?
Skate bearings are constantly exposed to dirt, moisture, and friction during use. Without regular cleaning, they can:
run more slowly
start to squeak or seize up
rust or get damaged faster
ultimately shorten the lifespan of your skates
With proper care, you can not only extend the life of your bearings but also improve your performance.
2. When Should You Clean Your Bearings?
A good rule of thumb:
After every session in wet or dirty conditions
Every few weeks with regular dry use
Immediately if they grind, make noise, or don’t spin smoothly
3. How to Clean Your Bearings – Step by Step
What you’ll need:
A bearing remover or axle
Cleaning container (e.g. screw-top jar or bearing cleaning kit)
Cleaning fluid (isopropyl alcohol, acetone, or bearing cleaner)
Tweezers or fine needle
Cloth or paper towels
Lubricant (e.g. skate oil or grease)
Gloves (optional)
- Step 1: Remove Wheels and Bearings
Use a skate tool or Allen key to remove the axles and take out the wheels. Carefully remove the bearings – ideally with a bearing remover or by gently prying them out using the axle.
- Step 2: Remove Shields
Most bearings have a rubber shield (sealed bearings), which you can gently lift out with a needle or tweezers. Be careful not to damage them – you’ll need them later.
- Step 3: Clean
Place the bearings in the cleaning container and fill it with the cleaning fluid. Shake the container for a few minutes or let the bearings soak overnight. Then let them dry thoroughly on a cloth.
- Step 4: Lubricate
Apply 1–2 drops of skate oil to each bearing or use a bit of grease. Important: Don’t use too much lubricant, as it attracts dirt again.
- Step 5: Reassemble
Put the shields back in place and reinstall the bearings in the wheels. Then mount the wheels back onto your skates – done!
4. Extra Tips for Bearing Maintenance
Never clean with water: It promotes rust. Always use appropriate cleaning agents.
Don’t skate on dry bearings: If they sound dry, lubricate them immediately.
Avoid rust: Try not to skate through water or wet leaves. If you do, clean and dry the bearings right after.
Store bearings dry: Don’t leave your skates in damp basements or car trunks.
5. When Should You Replace Your Bearings?
Even with proper care, bearings don’t last forever. If they are:
loud
rough
loose
or no longer spinning freely
it’s time for new ones. For intense skating, it’s worth investing in high-quality bearings like ABEC-7, ABEC-9, or Swiss bearings.
Conclusion
With a little effort, your bearings will stay durable, quiet, and fast. Regular cleaning and lubrication save money in the long run and make skating more enjoyable. Whether on the ramp, in the park, or on the street – well-maintained bearings are the key to top performance.
Tip: In our online shop, you’ll find not only high-quality bearings but also the right cleaning accessories and lubricants – everything you need for perfect bearing care.
