Freestyle Slalom Inline Skates

Inline Freestyle Slalom Skates

In inline freestyle slalom skating, it is crucial how agile and responsive a skate is, and that it provides the most direct power transfer possible in order to perform tricks precisely.

For this reason, freestyle inline skates are generally built a bit stiffer than, for example, fitness inline skates, or they are offered directly as hardboot models.

To achieve maximum agility and maneuverability for spins and tricks, the so-called rockering is an essential element in inline slalom skating (at least for advanced skaters). Therefore, freestyle slalom inline skates are often equipped with special rockerable frames that allow individual wheels to be positioned higher. This creates a shortened wheelbase, which guarantees the highest level of mobility and maneuverability.

Slalom Skates for Kids

Inline Freestyle Slalom Skates for Kids and growing feet

Our range of inline freestyle slalom skates gives even the youngest skaters the opportunity to dive into the world of cones and tricks.

Children pick up new movements particularly quickly and are incredibly proud when they master their first slalom lines and pull off freestyle moves, and rightfully so. This boosts their confidence not only in skating but also in everyday life.

With our size-adjustable freestyle slalom inline skates, children and teenagers can really get started and use the skates over multiple seasons.

Success and fun in Slalom Skating

Cones and accessories for Freestyle Slalom Skating

Cones, also known as slalom cones, are absolutely essential for freestyle slalom skating. For basic training, a set of 20 cones is already sufficient.

However, if you want to pursue inline freestyle slalom skating seriously and continue developing your skills, we recommend a set of 54 cones. The reason for this is that freestyle slalom skating uses three cone lines:

  • One line with 20 cones, spaced 50 cm apart.
  • One line with 20 cones, spaced 80 cm apart (the main line).
  • One line with 14 cones, spaced 120 cm apart.

You can find more details about this in our blog post on the freestyle slalom skating rulebook.

Backpacks and bags

Special skating backpacks and bags

With our specially designed backpacks for inline skates and freestyle slalom skates, you too will find the ideal companion for your everyday life between the cones.

Our backpacks, for example, feature special mounts where you can securely attach your freestyle inline skates, and they also offer enough storage space for your gear and supplies.

In our backpacks and bags, you can store everything you need: your inline skates, your cones, your protective gear, suitable snacks, your camera equipment, music, and much more.

Protectors

Protectors for Inline Freestyle Slalom Skating

In freestyle slalom skating, protectors can diminish the aesthetic appeal for some skaters, which is why many slalom skaters choose not to wear them.

However, the right protective gear not only protects you from serious injuries but also gives you extra security and boosts your confidence while dancing through the cones.

By preventing and cushioning injuries, you can skate continuously, avoid unwanted breaks, and therefore have the opportunity to progress steadily.

Thanks to the increased confidence that well-fitting protectors can give you, you will also make faster overall progress, have fewer inhibitions when trying new tricks, and ultimately enjoy skating even more.

The protective gear we recommend for inline freestyle slalom skating includes the following:

  • A helmet,
  • wrist guards,
  • elbow pads,
  • and knee pads.
