The shipping costs for our rental equipment are calculated individually.

Below are three examples:

1x pair of roller skates/inline skates, including packaging, weighs between 3.5 and 4.5 kg.

• The shipping costs within Germany for a 10kg package are approximately €10. Return shipping via us costs €8 per package. Thus, the total cost for shipping and return of 2 pairs of roller skates would be around €18.
• The shipping costs within Germany for a 30kg package are approximately €22. Return shipping via us costs €8 per package. Thus, the total cost for shipping and return of 2 pairs of roller skates + 2 pairs of inline skates, including protective gear, would be around €30.
• The shipping costs for larger quantities, such as 50 pairs of roller skates for a roller disco, can vary significantly depending on the selected shoe sizes and the mix of roller skates for children and adults.

Care Tips for Pads & Protective Gear – Stay Fresh, Functional, and Safe
Pads are an essential part of your protective gear – whether you're skating, scootering, riding BMX, or inline skating. Knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards cushion falls and protect you from injuries. To ensure they last long, remain comfortable, and stay hygienic, they need a bit of care. Here’s how to properly maintain your protective gear.

1. Air Out After Every Use

After every session, make sure your pads get proper ventilation:

• Take them out of your bag immediately
• Open hook-and-loop fasteners and let the pads dry in a well-ventilated area
• Never store them in damp bags or backpacks – this can lead to mold and odors

Tip: Laying them out on a drying rack overnight is often enough.

2. Wash With Care

Most pads are made of neoprene, mesh, foam, and hard plastic. Washing is occasionally necessary – but don’t just toss them in the machine unless the manufacturer explicitly says it's okay.

Hand wash recommended:

• Use lukewarm water with mild soap or sports detergent
• Use a soft brush or sponge
• Close hook-and-loop fasteners beforehand to protect the material
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water afterward

3. Let Them Dry Completely

Wet pads can start to smell or even develop mold quickly.

Never dry on a heater or in a dryer!

Instead:

• let them air-dry, ideally in the shade with good airflow
• Don’t store them with other clothes until fully dry

4. Neutralize Odors

If your pads already have an unpleasant smell:

• Spray with hygiene spray or sports shoe deodorizer

Alternatively:

• sprinkle baking soda inside overnight and shake it out the next day
• Activated charcoal bags or odor-neutralizing inserts are great for frequent use

5. Maintain Hook-and-Loop Fasteners

Hook-and-loop closures lose grip over time, especially if clogged with lint or dirt.

• Clean regularly with a fine brush or tweezers
• Always close them before washing to prevent fraying or damage to other items

6. Inspect Shells and Materials

Pads should be checked regularly for damage:

• Cracks in the hard shell, stretched-out straps, or brittle foam reduce protection
• Replace damaged pads rather than risking failure when it matters

7. Store Properly

If you’re not using your pads daily, store them properly:

• Dry, dust-free, and not squished
• Ideally stored openly in a breathable bag or box
• Avoid direct sunlight, which can make materials brittle
