SkaMiDan's Aggressive Inline Skating Manuals & Slides Trick List

Your Guide to Manuals & Slides in Aggressive Inline Skating

Manuals, also known as wheelies, are tricks that require a strong sense of balance. While rolling, you balance on just one or two wheels – either at the front or the back. These tricks demand solid body control. The longer you hold a manual, the more impressive it looks – especially when you combine it with slides, spins, grinds, or other moves.

Slides are tricks where you deliberately slide over a surface using your wheels. Depending on the type of slide, the texture of the surface, and your approach technique, the look and difficulty of the trick can vary significantly. Whether it’s a stylish power slide, a creative toe slide, or a radical heel slide – each of these tricks challenges your balance and mental control in a unique way.

Slides and manuals are also great for linking different tricks together – a real eye-catcher, whether you're on the street or at the skatepark.

Whether you're focusing on precise manuals, smooth slides, or creative combinations – all of these techniques improve your balance, body control, and understanding of complex trick sequences. Those who regularly practice manuals and slides develop a finer body awareness, more flow, and can skate faster and with more style.

The SkaMiDan Trick List – Your Training Companion

This is where our SkaMiDan Trick List comes into play: We've put together a comprehensive collection of manuals and slides – perfect for learning your first tricks or systematically expanding your existing repertoire.

The list is clearly structured: sorted alphabetically and also categorized by difficulty level. This way, you can quickly find out which tricks you already master – and which ones are next in line.

Learn Even Better – With Tutorials and Media

For many tricks, you’ll also find images, videos, and detailed tutorials to help you get started right away. You'll not only discover new tricks but also learn the correct names – or the other way around: if you know the name, you’ll instantly see what’s behind it.

The SkaMiDan Manuals & Slides Trick List is more than just a list – it’s your personal companion on the way to more skills, style, and safety when gliding, balancing, and combining your tricks and skate lines.

Difficulty Level

Basics

The first manual is relatively easy to learn compared to the first slides. So don’t worry if you find it easier to master the basic manual rather than the first foundational slides.

Manuals:
  • Duck Walk (Heel-Toe Manual)
We practice skating and accelerating on just two wheels, balancing with one skate only on the back wheel and with the other skate only on the front wheel.
Slides:
  • Lunge Slide (Lunge Stop)
We learn our first slide to come to a quick stop and avoid crashing into other skaters.

Difficulty Level

Beginner

Even the beginner-level manuals are significantly easier to learn than the beginner-level slides.

However, once you master one or two tricks from each category, you'll not only be able to brake from almost any situation in the skatepark, but you'll also be able to perform your first cool trick combinations and incorporate them into your lines.

  • Toe Manual
We practice skating and accelerating on our front wheels.
  • Heel Manual
