The right scooter and the optimal scooter size
The correct height of a stunt scooter depends mainly on your body height and riding style. As a general rule, the handlebars should reach somewhere between your hips and your belly button when you (or the rider) are standing on the deck.
- For park and trick riders, a slightly lower handlebar is ideal because it makes the scooter easier to spin. A lower bar height is generally beneficial for performing various tricks.
- For street riders or if you prefer more stability, the handlebar can be a bit higher.
A well-adjusted handlebar height ensures optimal control, comfort and safety.

If you mainly ride your scooter on the street or use it to get from A to B, we recommend following the height guidelines based on your body size and the corresponding scooter size.
However, if you spend a lot of time in the skatepark and ride in the stunt scooter category, your scooter can be slightly smaller than the general recommendation for your height.
