Size Guide for Clothing: Find the Right Size and Fit

To ensure you choose the right size for your new outfit, we’ve put together some important tips and guidelines below.

Take the time to read our size guide and find the perfect fit right away. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us anytime!

Size charts and taking measurements correctly

If available, you’ll find size charts for different outfits in the product images. These charts often include sketches to help you measure correctly.

When it comes to skating apparel, it’s usually better to choose a size up if you’re unsure – this ensures freedom of movement while skating.

If you're still uncertain about your size, feel free to contact us anytime – we’re happy to help!

If you don't find product-specific size charts in our product images, you can use the following two size charts as a general reference. Click or tap on the respective chart to view it in full size.

How to Measure Correctly

Measure as close to your body as possible and wear only thin clothing. Keep the measuring tape close to your body without pulling it too tight. For a reliable result, make sure the measuring tape is straight and parallel to the floor.

The following body measurements are particularly important when choosing your size:

  • Chest circumference: Wrap the measuring tape horizontally around the fullest part of your chest.
  • Waist circumference: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso.
  • Hip circumference: Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips and buttocks.
  • Inside leg length: Measure from the crotch down the inside of your leg to the desired trouser length.
  • Arm length: Measure from your shoulder over your slightly bent elbow to your wrist.

If in doubt, measure twice. This will help you avoid measurement errors and accurately compare your measurements with the relevant clothing size chart.

Comparing Body Measurements and Garment Measurements

Check whether the chart lists body measurements or the actual measurements of the garment.

Body measurements are taken directly on your body. Garment measurements, on the other hand, are taken from a top or pair of trousers laid flat. Therefore, only compare measurements taken in the same way.

If garment measurements are provided, you can measure a well-fitting T-shirt, jumper, or pair of trousers from your wardrobe. This method is particularly useful for determining your preferred fit.

Slim, Regular, or Loose: Which Fit Is Right for You?

In addition to the clothing size, the cut also determines how your new outfit will fit:

  • Slim fit: Fits closer to the body and is ideal for functional clothing or wearing underneath additional layers.
  • Regular fit: Offers a balanced combination of comfort, freedom of movement, and a classic fit.
  • Loose fit: Provides plenty of freedom of movement and the typical relaxed skate and streetwear look.

Before ordering, consider whether you prefer your top or trousers to fit slim, regular, or oversized. Also check the product description and notes such as “Slim Fit,” “Regular Fit,” “Relaxed Fit,” or “Oversized Fit.”

When in Doubt, Choose More Freedom of Movement

For skating, it is usually best to choose the larger size if you are unsure. Trousers, hoodies, protective gear, and multiple layers of clothing in particular require sufficient room.

If you are between two sizes, we therefore often recommend choosing the larger clothing size, unless you deliberately prefer a close fit. This allows you to move freely and focus entirely on your tricks, turns, and lines.

However, choosing the larger size is not a universal rule. For very loose-fitting streetwear or products explicitly labelled as “Oversized,” even the smaller size may fit loosely. The product-specific size chart therefore remains the best basis for your decision.
