Learn Inline Freestyle Slalom Skating in the Skate Courses by SkaMiDan

Our Freestyle Slalom Inline Skating courses in Weil am Rhein are aimed at teenagers and adults who want to learn more than ordinary fitness and recreational inline skating. Here, we learn how to skate and dance in and through rows of cones.

Inline Freestyle Slalom Skating is its own discipline with competitions held all around the world. Skaters perform their own choreographies accompanied by music.

Our Inline Freestyle Slalom Skating courses take place in Weil am Rhein, at the entrance area of the DreiLänderGarten. There, you will find a very large open space that provides ideal conditions for successful training.

The Most Important Information First

These courses are all about learning the basics as well as beginner and advanced tricks.

For participation in our courses, both you and we are required to follow the points below:

  • For this course, we expect participants to already have the basic skills of classic recreational inline skating. You should therefore be able to skate forward safely and brake reliably.
  • The course language is German (but we also speak English).
  • After booking, you will receive a confirmation by email as well as a later reminder for the upcoming course.
  • Wearing complete basic protective gear is mandatory, consisting of a helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads.
  • Please bring an ID card or another identification document.
  • For children, we require the phone number of a parent or legal guardian (for emergencies).
  • Children must be able to go to the toilet independently (e.g. at the nearby Laguna water park or Impulsiv), as we cannot accompany children to the restroom.

If you or your children do not own inline skates or protective gear, you can rent equipment from us for an additional fee (however, we do not offer special rental equipment specifically for Freestyle Slalom Skating). The equipment must be booked separately and picked up from us before the course starts.

Course Duration and Costs

The duration of our courses is carefully planned so that you can get the most out of both the training and yourself. Our experience has shown that courses that are too long can lead to muscle fatigue, reduced attention, and overall weaker results.

  • Duration: 1.5 hours per course session
  • Cost: 30 euros per course session and participant

Important Notes, Tips, and Tricks

With the following notes, tips, and tricks, you will be perfectly prepared for your course:

  • In case of rain or short-notice instructor cancellation, we will inform you in advance via email and WhatsApp. In this case, we will offer a replacement date. If no suitable date can be arranged, we will refund the course fee.
  • Course fees can only be refunded if the cancellation is communicated to us at least one week in advance or in cases of serious illness. In all other cases, we will offer a suitable replacement date so that you can make up your course.
  • Free-to-use restrooms are located at the entrance area of the nearby Laguna water park (upon request, the restrooms at the Impulsiv Sports Center may also be available).
