Size Finder – Find the Right Size Instantly
To make sure you choose the correct size for your new recreational or fitness inline skates, we have put together some important information and tips below.
Take the time to read our size guide and find the right size first time. If you still have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.
- In short: Your barefoot foot length plus 5 mm for a performance-oriented fit or 10 mm for greater comfort must not exceed the stated mondo size of the skate (shown as “Mondo” in our shop, e.g. 26.6 cm).
- Skate width: You can find the width of each model in the short description or product specifications. We distinguish between five categories: very narrow, narrow, medium, wide and very wide.
Choosing the Right Skate Size
If you are not yet familiar with the brand or model of a recreational or fitness inline skate, there is only one truly reliable size measurement: the mondo size. In our shop, this is stated either in millimetres (mm) or centimetres (cm).
You can find the mondo size both in the size chart included in the product images and directly in the size selection.
Your barefoot foot length plus 5 mm for a performance-oriented fit or 10 mm for greater comfort must not exceed the stated mondo size of the skate (shown as “Mondo” in our shop, e.g. 26.6 cm).
Example:
- Measure your foot length while barefoot. Stand with your heels against a door frame or a straight wall without a skirting board. Do not trace around your foot. Instead, slide an object with a straight edge, such as a box or chopping board, up to your longest toe. Then measure the distance between the wall and the object.
- Add an allowance of 5 to 10 mm to your measured foot length, depending on the thickness of your socks and your preferred level of comfort.
- The result must not be greater than the stated mondo size of the selected skate size.
If your foot measures 26.0 cm, adding 5 mm for maximum performance results in a required internal length of 26.5 cm.
If size EU 41 has a mondo size of 26.4 cm, it is 1 mm too short. In this case, you should choose size EU 42.
Trying them on: When standing with your legs straight in your fully laced and fastened skates, your toes may lightly touch the front of the outer shell. However, they should neither press against it nor be curled.
In the typical skating stance, with your knees bent forwards and positioned roughly above your toes, there should be a few millimetres of space between your toes and the front of the outer shell. Your toes should not touch the shell in this position.
Choosing the Right Fit and Skate Width
Under “Fit” in the product specifications or short description, you will find information about the width of each skate.
We distinguish between five categories:
- Very narrow
- Narrow
- Medium
- Wide
- Very wide
You should only choose a very narrow or narrow fit if you are certain that you have very narrow feet. These fits may also be the right choice if maximum control and an especially secure fit are more important to you than comfort.
A pronounced foot arch can often be identified by a strongly crescent-shaped footprint, for example, when walking across the floor with wet feet. In this case, your foot width is probably in the medium range.
If, on the other hand, you have flatter feet and leave a less crescent-shaped or almost complete footprint, you probably have wider feet.
Example:
If your bare foot measures approximately 26 cm in length and 11 cm in width, as shown in our illustration, it tends to be on the wider side.
As every skate fits differently, this information is intended only as a rough guide.
The following points are also particularly important for recreational and fitness inline skating:
- Choosing the correct size for your recreational and fitness inline skates is essential to ensure a comfortable fit even on long-distance rides and to prevent your feet from cramping.
- In the typical skating stance, there should be some space between your toes and the front of the outer shell. This extra room is important to accommodate increased blood flow to your feet, especially during long-distance skating.
- However, it is also important that your foot barely moves inside the skate to prevent friction blisters.
You can find more tips and tricks on how to prevent or eliminate pain in fitness inline skates and adjust them to your foot shape and individual needs here!

Delivery times – Important and general information
We stock items that we have in stock and items that we purchase directly from our suppliers or the manufacturer after receiving the order.
All items marked “Ready for immediate dispatch” are kept in our own warehouse and can be dispatched by us immediately or picked up by you.
For us, working days are all days from Monday to Friday inclusive (excluding regional holidays in Baden-Württemberg, Germany).
The following applies to all items marked “Ready for immediate dispatch”:
If your order is received by 2:00 p.m. , we will process, pack and ship your order on the same working day . In any case, the order will be ready for dispatch on the following working day at the latest. This means that the goods will be handed over to our logistics partner on the following working day at the latest. Working days for us are all days from Monday to Friday.
Orders paid via bank transfer are only processed after the money has been received in our account. With instant transfers, we receive the money immediately and begin processing your order immediately. For all other transfers, the transfer time depends on the respective credit institution. Classic transfers within Germany usually reach us within 1 to 2 working days.
The following applies to all items that are not marked “Ready for immediate dispatch”:
We process all orders immediately. Items that are not immediately ready for dispatch, such as "Ready for dispatch in 2-3 working days", cannot be dispatched immediately.
We do not stock these items in our own warehouse and order them from our respective supplier or manufacturer at the same time as your order.
This enables us to offer a comprehensive range and gives you the advantage of always receiving original goods first hand. We are also in close contact with the respective manufacturers and can offer you comprehensive service and support even beyond product deliveries.
Example:
Items that we have marked "Ready for dispatch in 2-3 working days" are usually dispatched within two to three working days after receipt of your order. If you select a delivery time of 1-3 working days at checkout, it will be delivered to you in 3-6 working days. This is based on the time it takes for the item to be ready for dispatch, plus the selected delivery time.
One order, but items with different delivery times
Items with different lead times (e.g. 'Ready to ship in 2-3 business days' and 'Ready to ship immediately' ) are not normally shipped separately.
In order to offer you lower shipping costs and also to protect our environment, we usually ship all items in an order together.
If the items ordered in an order are marked with different delivery times, the delivery time for the item with the longest delivery time applies. Items marked as pre-orders will be sent separately and individually.
If you need one or more of the items ordered immediately, please contact us, a simple message via email or WhatsApp is sufficient. Alternatively, you can also let us know via the comments field in the checkout process (yes, we really do read these messages).
I have ordered, now what?
As soon as you have placed your order via our online shop, you will receive an order confirmation from us via email.
If your order has been paid for or you have made a purchase on account (e.g. via Klarna), we will process it immediately. Immediately after we have processed your order, you will receive an email from us with a confirmation. In this email you will find the corresponding invoice again as a PDF. This is for your records.
As soon as we hand over your order to our logistics service provider, you will receive another email containing all the tracking information. Depending on what you ordered from us, you will also receive instructions on how to try on the items you ordered, no instructions, or other instructions with the shipping confirmation email.

Care Tips for Softboot Inline Skates
Keep your skates comfortable, clean, and ready to roll
Softboot inline skates are especially comfortable and breathable – perfect for relaxed rides, fitness sessions, or your commute to work. But just like any sports equipment, regular maintenance extends their lifespan and improves the skating experience. In this article, we’ll show you how to properly clean, maintain, and store your softboot skates.
1. Why Is Maintenance Important?
Skating exposes your skates to dirt, dust, sweat, and moisture – not just on the wheels but also inside the boot. Without care, this can lead to the following problems:
- Poor ventilation & unpleasant odor
- Wear on materials and stitching
- Blocked wheels or rusty bearings
- Loose screws or damaged buckles
With a little attention, your skates will stay functional longer – and smell better too!
2. After Every Ride: The Quick Care Routine
A short check after each session helps prevent bigger damage:
- Wipe outer shell & wheels with a damp cloth
- Air out the liner – ideally remove it from the boot
- Check buckles, ratchets, and lacing systems for tightness
- Listen for noise or feel resistance in the bearings
- Store skates dry – never leave them wet in a bag!
3. Deep Cleaning – Step by Step
- Clean Wheels & Bearings
Remove the wheels using an Allen key.
Take out the bearings and clean them with isopropyl alcohol or bearing cleaner.
Let them dry thoroughly and lubricate with skate oil or bearing grease.
Clean the wheels separately with water and a cloth. - Clean the Softboot (Outer Material & Liner)Wipe the outer material (mesh, synthetic) with a damp cloth and mild soapy water.
If the liner or fixed inner boot smells strong, treat it with sports hygiene spray or hand wash it (follow manufacturer instructions).
Dry soles and insoles separately – do not place them on a heater! - Check Lacing & Buckles
Regularly test all closures and replace them if worn.
For quick lacing systems (e.g. BOA or speed lacing), use a little silicone spray if they become stiff.
4. How to Store Your Softboot Skates Properly
Dry, airy & at room temperature:
- Avoid damp basements or hot car interiors.
Don’t leave skates in your backpack or bag:
- always dry them thoroughly.
Take pressure off the wheels:
- Don’t leave skates standing on the wheels for months – this can cause flat spots.
Storing liners separately (if possible) helps them stay fresher longer.
5. When Should You Replace Parts?
Even softboot inline skates have wear-and-tear components. Check regularly for:
Wheels:
- worn flat, cracked, or heavily used
Bearings:
- noisy, rough, or blocked
Liners:
- compressed, permanently smelly, or lacking support
Buckles / Lacing systems:
- broken or stretched
Axles & Screws: loose, rusty, or damaged
Conclusion
Softboot inline skates offer comfort and fun – especially when you give them a little care. With a quick check after each ride and occasional deep cleaning, they’ll stay hygienic, smooth-rolling, and safe. That way, you can enjoy every skating session to the fullest – season after season.
Tip: In our online shop, you’ll find cleaning products, bearing oil, replacement wheels and Other spare parts – perfect for the complete care of your softboot skates!
